StreetlightIt’s a dusty street corner in Alabama. The black velvet of the night sky stretches from one horizon to another, covering the small town in a blanket of silent coldness. A solitary figure is propped up on a graffiti-scarred wall next to a large, faded poster advertizing a musical that took place three years ago. The irregular yellow light cast from the nearby street lamp created a sickly haze, allowing only the figure’s lower half to be seen. Lean, lithe legs were wrapped tightly by worn jeans, which might have been blue at one time but were now a dull charcoal. Their frayed, flared bottoms masked the upper rim of a pairStreetlight
